Main St Sidewalk & ADA Improvements - CONSTRUCTION DOWNTOWN
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
City of Isleton to Begin Main Street Sidewalk and ADA Improvements
Isleton, CA — January 2026 — The City of Isleton will begin construction on a sidewalk and ADA accessibility improvement project along Main Street starting January 20, 2026, with work expected to be completed by February 20, 2026.
The project includes the installation of new ADA-compliant curb ramps and related sidewalk improvements at the intersections of Main Street with E Street, F Street, and H Street. Construction will occur in phases, with work taking place on both the east and west sides of Main Street to minimize disruptions.
Temporary traffic control and pedestrian detours will be in place during construction. Local businesses and residents may experience short-term access impacts, and the City appreciates the community’s patience while these important safety and accessibility upgrades are completed.
These improvements are paid for by a grant from Sacramento Area Council of Governments. It will enhance pedestrian safety and accessibility for residents and visitors, bringing key downtown intersections into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
